Delmus Phelps » Buttercup Up-Close

This is an incredible print of on original painting done in 2006 and has long been sold.  The details that are visible within the print are beautiful.  Around these parts, daffodils and narcissus are sometimes called buttercups,  even though buttercups are a completely different little flower "Ranunculus" that are actually poisonous to cattle and humans.

So in keeping with what my Grandma would call "buttercups", found on the side of her house in great bunches of yellow and white, I painted it and named it as she saw fit.

This particular blossom came from a neighbor's beautiful display again, on the side of her house.

2 sizes are available, each with a white border.
